Today is most of the technology machine is used servo motors to control machine because servo motor is more precise movement and rotation is possible is negligible friction example 3d printing machine, CNC machine, robotics control system ... accuracy in the machine then the first option is servo drives control.

How to the servo motor and drives control using plc and Arduino.

Servo motor control is easy when you understand all working parameters or principles. servo motor run with PWM signal and its signal duration high to low is very fast less than seconds basic of all servo is pulse command and direction command operations to rotates motor forwards and reverse, and speed depends upon how many time signal switching in pulse commands like 20000 pulse switches every 1ms then its rotates fast when increasing 1 to 3ms then speed is slow .pwm defined how much rotor moves in given time delay .

1.Servo Power Mechanism.

Servo motor Power mechanism is the same as other motor power connections. the only difference is its feedback and control mechanism.

2.servo control mechanism.

servo control mechanism or feedback loop control system is the same .servo drives work on PWM signals means that's what is the pulse width duration in on to the off condition. feedback device encoder counts real times pulses signal at the movements of rotors, encoder decide what input pulses is feed on start operation or width delays of pulses then start motor rotate and encoder counts its inputs pulses is complete or not

How to servo motor drives control using plc and Arduino signals.

in my few years of servo experience then I have tested Arduino mega to make 3d printer using first stepper and GRBL code. code works fine then I decided to make servo based 3d printer with the same code because of servo and stepper work the same principle pulse and direction mode. then have simply set the speed of servo drive as per ball screw pitch distance and remove stepper connection and connect servo drives .i have surprised when I see this amazing result it's working perfectly. the only connection is different stepper to servo but servo drive also works 5v signal as well as 24 signal using plc and any controller.

How to servo motor and drives connection.

the servo motor has two major connections first motor connection and second encoder connection. connect to servo drives is easy to see encoder pin marking on the motor side and datasheet also before wiring. then motor connect like all motor RYB connection.

How to servo motor drives connected to Arduino.

after motor and encoder connection then need to connect signal input or initialization or control signal of the motor as per manufacturing datasheet. I used fuji servo drives and motor.this motor and drives connection is given below.

difference in 3d Printer and CNC machine.

3-D Printer and CNC machine most of the working principle is the same but the most of work is fully different from CNC and 3d printer each other

1. In 3d printer x y z given instruction data send as loop signal one by one but it important in 3d printer start with a big value of x,y,z respectively. then loop goes to greater than present but less than second next data.second next data is greater then previous data but less than next data so this loop work until it comes with minimum value.

In CNC x y z given instruction data send as loop signal one by one but it important in CNC starts with a big value of x,y,z respectively. then loop goes to greater than present but less than second next data.second next data is greater then previous data but less than next data so this loop work until it comes with minimum value.in CNC case z-axis goes down every x,y,z data respectively in same time z will be constant more than x,y data because z-axis is not down every x,y data send x,y changes always every instruction but z will same in some instruction due to cad and 3d model .z axis is the dept of cutting and turning object height

3. in 3d printer Z axis always goes in up direction with competing for x y data respectively to change z-axis to decide the object height in 3 d printer

4. in 3d printer Z axis always used for extruder and CNC always used for spindle for a lathe.
